Ákos Buttykay

Ákos Buttykay (* 27. July 1871 in Halmi; † 26. October 1935 in Debrecen) was a Hungarian composer.

Buttykay was pupil of Victor of heart field, István Thomán and Bernhard Stavenhagen. From 1907 to 1923 he was a piano teacher at the college of music of Budapest. It composed one opera and five Operetten, two symphonies and a sinfonische seal, a Hungarian Suite and a Hungarian rhapsody, the clay/tone painting narration of one Sommernacht, a Violinkonzert, pieces of piano and songs.
