of the Ägerisee is 7,3 km ² a large lake (724 m u. M.) in Switzerland, canton course, which resulted from Gletscherschurf. Its main supply is the Hüribach, main discharge is the Lorze. The Ägerisee is used since 1992 as drinking water reservoir. At the lakeshore 1315 the battle at the Morgarten took place . At the end of January 2006 the frozen over lake for the first time since 1981 in certain places for use one released.
