In the Swedish one the letter stands Å after that and before that ae in the alphabet, in the Danish one and Norwegian one he is the last letter of the alphabet.

Strange things
In Denmark the old Digraph Aa was replaced through Å, in names and place names how Åbenrå is however still frequently the old posting. A strange thing is the city Århus, which is written with Å, while in the name of the university of the city of the Digraph one maintained: Aarhus Universitet.
Also in the Norwegian one are still remainder to the old way of writing, which originates from the union time with Denmark. Thus the Norwegian successor to the throne is called "Haakon" (spoken "Hokun").
