Ökotrophologie
Ökotrophologie (of Greek οικος, oikos = house; τροφη, trophé = nutrition and logos = teachings) the independent interdisciplinary academic subject the household is - and nourishing sciences for the 1960er years in Germany.
The training areas cover the nourishing teachings including Diätetik, the personnel management, the economics and the health teachings as well as the social politics and the house-economically relevant technology. Ökotrophologen generally represent an interface position between consumers/consumer , producer , society and economics in their field of activity therefore. The extensive and versatile study contains therefore bases of the most diverse scientific, economicaland psycho sociological ranges, in order to enable beginning Ökotrophologen to be able to communicate with the most different person's groups.
Further spheres of activity for Ökotrophologen are the foodstuffs industry for example than product developers and the nourishing consultation among other things with health insurance companies.
The study of the Ökotrophologie is possible both at universities and professional schools.It is changed over at present to the gradated and modularized Bachelor - /master - conclusions. In the winter semester 2004/2005 approximately 7,100 studying in the academic subject were written „household and nourishing sciences “(4% more than before five years). The number of the graduates reached 2004 with approximately 1,100 one in the test yearnew highest level (approximately 13% (+ 130) more than in the previous year). Thereby the high portion of Bachelorabsolventen (13%) in this academic subject is remarkable. Still the subject is a woman domain: The portion graduate inside in the academic subject of the household and nourishing sciences was with 88%. In case of oneGraduation becomes the title Dr. oec. troph. lent.
Ökotrophologie does not have to do anything except the common linguistic origin of the Greek words oikos and logos with the ecology.
