Adrián Annus
Adrián Zsolt Annus [ˈɒdriaːn ʒolt ˈɒnːuʃ] (* 28. June 1973 in Szeged) is a Hungarian athlete.
Annus is one of the world-best hammer throwers. He experienced its break-through, when he won 2001 its first Grand Prix competition in Ōsaka. With the athlete IC world championship 2003 in Paris he became vice-world champion.
With the olympic plays 2004 in Athens Annus won the hammer throw match. When it had refused however twice a Dopingkontrolle, the gold medal was denied to it. The Japanese Koji Murofushi thereupon as the winner explains.
