Agnes of Schlesien Liegnitz

Agnes of Schlesien Liegnitz (* after 1242; † 13. March 1265) was countess of Württemberg.

Agnes originated from the Polish sex of the Piasten; she was the oldest daughter of the schlesischen duke Boleslaw II. After 1259 she married the württembergischen count Ulrich I. (“Ulrich of the founders”), whose first Mrs. Mechthild von Baden had deceased before ( probably 1258). Probably Agnes died with the birth of her only son, the later count Eberhard I. (“Eberhard of the Erlauchte”). She was buried in the pin church bag brook; their Gebeine was probably transferred in the year 1321 into the pin church Stuttgart.
