Ahriman
Ahriman or also Ahryman (centralPersian „bad spirit “) is the Persian name form for the avestische Angru Mainyu („bad spirit “, „power of the darkness “, „spirit of the bad one “), which in the religion of the Parsismus donated by Zoroaster the name of the bad principle is, embodied by the adversarythe creator God Ahura Masda, whose twin brother is he.

Then Ahriman will be destroyed and a new imperishable and glossful world will be created.
In the Mithrareligion and in the Zervanismus Ahriman is admired as God. Itanimals are sacrificed, which belong to bad power. On reliefs of the Mithra Ahriman is represented löwenköpfig with umwundener queue, sometimes with two keys. The assumption to see herein an aspect of the underworld is obvious.
The Anthroposophie sees in Ahriman a nature, inthe Gegenpol to the intoxicationful schwelgenden, world-volatile Luzifer for harmful exaggeration of the materialistic-technical understanding forms. Humans must hold the center between the two natures and their qualities in itself with Christ assistance.
Ahriman is a spirit, that is talented with penetrating the human version strength an exceeding,but cold intelligence, which he locks however for avid in itself.
