Alcoa holds 8 per cent of the portions of the Aluminum corporation OF China. The two enterprises agreed upon a strategic co-operation.

The Norwegian enterprise Elkem belongs to 46.5 per cent of Alcoa. The latter failed however with the attempt to take over Elkem completely.
