Alois Hába

Alois Hába (* 21. June 1893 in why joke, Mähren; † 18. November 1973 in Prague) was a Czech composer.

He was a pupil of Franz Schreker and belonged into the early 1920er Years to the European avant-garde. It studied conservatoire in Prague , Vienna and Berlin and became a teacher at the Prager. It participated among other things in the famous music celebrations of new clay/tone art in Donaueschingen . In its music it extended the clay/tone scale by quarter and Sechsteltöne, to which special instruments were made. To its composition pupils Gideon small and Zikmund belong train.
