alto Meteln is a municipality in the north of the district Nordwestmecklenburg in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Germany). The municipality is administered by the office Lützow Lübstorf with seat in the municipality Lützow.

Geografie
the municipality alto Meteln lies 15 kilometers north of Schwerin in a Grundmoränengebiet, whose hill towers above the mirror of the Schweriner of lake in the east and the valley of the upper Stepenitz in the west approximately around 30 m. The Aubach flows by the Gemeindegebiet toward Schwerin. The highest collection forms the Alandsberg with 74 m and. NN in the local part again Meteln.
