André Pirro
André Pirro (* 12. February 1869 in Saint Dizier; † 11. November 1943 in Paris) was a French music scientist and organist.
Pirro received its first music instruction from his father (Jean Pirro?). it went to 1889 to Paris, where it visited the organ classes of César Franck and Charles Marie Widor at the Conservatoire. 1896 he became a teacher for organ and music history to the Schola Cantorum. Since 1904 it informed striking width unit also to the Ecole of the Etudes Sociales. it attained a doctorate to 1907 to the Sorbonne, where it became 1912 lecturer , 1930 more extraordinarily and 1935 tidy professor for music history.
