Angelo Anelli
Angelo Anelli (* 1. November 1761 in Desenzano del Garda; † 9. April 1820 in Padua) was an Italian dear savingist and writer.
Anelli studied literature science and law in Padua and engaged themselves in the policy. In the time of the Repubblica Cisalpina it was responsible some time as a commissioner for the district Franciacorta. 1808 were appointed Anelli as a professor for Rhetorik to the university of Milan. Between 1793 and 1817 he was active at the citizens of Milan Scala as theatre poets and in the organizational line. It created there alone 40 Libretti, usually for amusing operas, among other things for the composers Domenico Cimarosa, Franz Benedikt Dussek, Pietro Alessandro Guglielmi, Simon Mayr, Niccolò Piccinni, Gioacchino Rossini and Niccolo Antonio Zingarelli.
