Anna Sergejewna Kurnikowa

Anna Sergejewna Kurnikowa (Russian АннаСергеевнаКурникова, wiss. Transliteration Anna Sergejevna Kurnikova; * 7. June 1981 in Moscow, Russia) is former Russian professional -Tennisspielerin.

At present it lives in Bradenton, Florida. It is an only child. Father Sergej (professor and ehem. Ringer), nut/mother Alla (Wirtschaftswissenschaftlerin).

Anna began at the age of five years tennis plays in a weekly child sport program. Their first Trainerin was Larissa Preobraschenskaja. In February 1992it goes into the USA to to tennis the Academy of nods Bollettieri into Bradenton, Florida. Also Pavel Složil and Eric van Harpen worry end of the 1990er about training, before nut/mother Alla takes over this task starting from 2000.

Despite longer placement under the Top 20 that WTA never reached it a single title, although she stood several times in the semi-final and final.

2004:Anna ziert in the summer again the Cover of the magazine MAXIM, plays some Exibitions, makes advertisement for omega clocks and produces again a calendar. In the world rank list it is not any longer led.

2005: Anna plays their 3. Season in the American WTT league with the Sacramento Capitals.

Itself 2000 knew each year for Masters in the single as well as in the double qualify of 1998 -. In the double it won 1999 and 2000. In the year 2000 it reached the semi-final in the single.

Balance in the Fed Cup: 12 victories (of it 10 in the double) and 7 defeats (of it 5 in the single), played altogether 12 employments in three years.

Due to its appearance Kurnikowa enjoys onehigh admitting heating degrees also among humans, who are not interested necessarily in lady tennis. On some its relations extensively in the rainbow press one reported, and photos in meager clothing appeared in several man magazines. Kurnikowa is further present and ordered still also since their career end in the mediaover advertising contracts.

It is with the Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias together, a wedding of the two so far was for some time disclaimed.
