Anne McGinty
Anne McGinty (* 29. June 1945 in Findley, US Federal State Ohio) is an US-American Komponistin, Dirigentin and a Verlegerin.
Their study completed it at Ohio State University, Columbus with Donald McGinnis and flute, music theory with Berne pool of broadcasting corporations gold mountain and composition with Joseph Willcox Jenkins to the Duquesne University, in Pittsburgh, US Federal State Pennsylvania. To the Duquesne University she attained also the Bachelor OF music with the descriptor summa cum Laude and the master OF music.
It is member of the American Society OF Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) as well as that national floods Association (NFA).
After the study she collected orchestra experience as solo Flötistin with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, the Tucson Pops Orchestra as well as the TSO Woodwind Quintet in the US Federal State Arizona. It very often appeared as Solistin and worked as a chief of Workshops for its instrument. It was active also as a flute teacher, gave flute instruction and organized lectures on chamber music for mentally handicappeds just like for the Royal American regiment Fife and Drum Corps. Also as an author in magazines she did out among other things, so as Kolumnistin in The School Musician, in the NFA Newsletter and other magazines. For a while it was responsible in a renowned publishing house house for expenditures of the music for woodwind instruments and published works for flute ensemble there for the first time.
It is married with the composer John Edmondson, with which it operates a self-publishing house Queenwood Publications for blowing music since 1987 in Scottsdale. 2002 became this publishing house to the Neil A. Kjos music company sells.
As a Komponistin it feels naturally also their instrument of much obliged. Often a work with solo flute or a piece for flute ensemble is in its Œuvre. She was a first Komponistin, who a work for the United States Army volume in the year 2000 with the title resound to OF Heroes wrote. Also for the United States Military Academy in west POINT wrote it a work with the title ton of Keep Thine Honor Bright.
