Anselme Gaëtan Desmarest

Anselme Gaëtan Desmarest (* 6. March 1784 in Paris; † 4. June 1838 in Alfort) was a French zoologist and writer. He was the son of the famous geologist Nicolas Desmarest (1725-1815).
