Apaosha

Apaosha or Apa Urta is a Persian Dämon.

It is ranked among the group of the Daevas, the servant Ahrimans. Also it is a Dämon of the Dürre. Apaosha is the opponent of the water goddess Aredivi Sura and goes allegedly into action as on a verkommenen, bald, black Ross riding. To Frasho Kereti, to which end of of the well-known world will be subject, to Apaosha the rain God Tisthyra, which rides on a white, magnificent mould.
