Apoplast

Apoplast is called in a vegetable fabric the area outside of the Protoplasten. The Apoplast consists of the whole of all cell walls and the cell gaps. It is an important place for reactions and storages in the fabric.

Contrary to the Apoplast the Symplast stands.
