Arm and Fallières
Clément arm and Fallières (* 6. November 1841 in Mézin (plumb bob et Garonne); † 21. June 1931 ebenda) was a French president (1906 - 1913) of the third republic.
After its study of the jurisprudence in Paris he marries 1868 Jeanne Bresson, with which he will have two children and establishes itself as an attorney in Nérac , where he in the same year councillor and 1871 is selected to the mayor von Nérac. it draws 1876 for the republicans into the French parliament. Between 1880 and 1883 he belongs to several cabinets as a Minister. At the beginning of of 1883 is it for only three weeks Prime Minister. From 1890 to 1906 it is member of the senate, who it präsidiert starting from 1899.
As president it replaces 1906 Emile Loubet and strives in the Vorkriegszeit around strengthening tripolarizes with priority entente with England and Russia. 1913 replace it Raymond Poincaré as a head of state and Fallières withdraw themselves from the policy. It dies to 21. June 1931 in Mézin.
