of the Q7 is a SUV (sport utility Vehicle) of the vehicle manufacturer AUDI and in September 2005 on the IAA the public was presented. It is based on the study AUDI Pikes peak Quattro, which was introduced to 2003 on Detroit engine show. The Q7 uses the same platform (platform E) as the VOLKSWAGEN Touareg and the Porsche Cayenne and as the Touareg in the slowakischen Bratislava is built.

Special characteristics of the Q7 are the permanent all-wheel drive (quattro) with a Kraftverteilung of 40:60 (front axle: Rear axle) and the optionally available third seat row. With for legal reasons for maximally 1.60 m the Q7 has large persons certified third seat row seven seats. When desired the second seat row with two single seats, in combination with a high-quality center console, can be ordered which reduces the maximum person's number to six.

The list of the special equipments for the Q7 contains things like adaptive pneumatic cushioning, dynamic curve light or a track switching assistant, which warn the driver with track switchings before vehicles, which are in the dead angle of the rear view mirrors. Due to the length of five meters there is still another optional a park assistance, that has among other things a camera.

The moreover one a 4.2 litre of V8 TDI as well as a V10 FSI with 480 HP is planned.
