August Friedrich Pauly

August Friedrich Pauly (* 9. May 1796 in Benningen at the Neckar with Ludwigsburg, † 2. May 1845 in Stuttgart) was classical Philologe.

Its Hauptwerk is the material Encyclopädie of the classischen Alterthumswissenschaft alphabetical correct, which he published starting from 1837 and which was designated also after it.
