Bärbel Struppert, geb. Schrickel (* 26. September 1950 in Jena, Thuringia), is a German light athlete, - for the GDR starting - with the olympic plays the 1972 in Munich the silver medal in the 4x100-Meter-Staffel won (42.95 s, together Evelyn buyer, Christina Heinich and Renate Stecher).
As 15-Jährige them became 1966 junior Europameisterin in the 4x100-Meter-Lauf.
Bärbel Struppert started for the sports club engine Jena and trained with refuge Dieter Hille. In its active time it was 1.58 meters large and weighed 50 kg. After its sportsman career she became a diploma sport teacher and worked in Gera as a circle sport teacher. She married the GDR upper league soccer player Gerd Struppert. After the end of the GDR she worked at the city sport federation Gera.
