Büren to the yard is a political municipality in the office district woman well of the canton Berne in Switzerland.

geography
Büren to the yard is on 510 m and. M., 10 km westnorthwest the city castle village (air line). The heap village extends in the northeast part of the Rapperswiler plateau, west the washing level of the Emme, in Swiss central country.
The surface 3,4 km ² of the large Gemeindegebiets covers a section of the central Bernese central country. To the weakly reliefierten, agriculturally intensively used area belong the plateau of Büren (on the average on 505 m and. M.), which drops eastward over one approximately 20 m high Geländestufe for the level of the Emme with the Fraubrunnenmoos. The western edge of this level forms at the same time the eastern municipality border. Northward the plateau lowers itself gradually to the hollow that sound matt, which is drained from the Chrümmlisbach to the Limpach. In the west the municipality soil extends over the easily waved landscape of the Rapperswiler plateau, which was rhoneglet over-formed by the ice-age , to the heights of being awake house (535 m and. M.) and Buechhubel (with 552 m and. M. the highest collection from Büren to the yard) and into the Tälchen of treasure getting. In a narrow Zipfel the area reaches to the west up to the Schöniberg (549 m and. M.). From the municipality surface 1997 was allotted 10% to settlements, 18% to forest and wood and 72% to agriculture.
To Büren to the yard the Häusergruppen Chapf , Speichhüsli and Dorzenmatten belong. Neighbour municipalities from Büren to the yard are Schalunen, woman wells, Etzelkofen, Mülchi and Limpach.

with 455 inhabitants (at the end of of 2004) belongs to Büren to the yard to the small municipalities of the canton Berne. From the inhabitants 97,7% are German-language, 0,7% französischsprachig and 0,7% speak Serbo-Croatian (conditions 2000). The total population of Büren to the yard still amounted 1850 to 457 inhabitants , 1900 to 319 inhabitants. In the process 20. Century always oscillated the total population within the range between 280 and 340 persons. Since 1970 (345 inhabitants) again a clear increase in population was registered.
economics
Büren to the yard was into the second half 20. Century a village predominantly coined/shaped by the agriculture. This very day have the agriculture, the fruit-growing as well as the dairy farming an important value in the acquisition structure of the population. Further jobs are in the local small trade and in the service sector available, among other things in a carpenter's workshop, in a horticulture enterprise and in a graphic studio. In the last decades the village developed to a Wohngemeinde. Many employed person are therefore way commuters, who work mainly in the regions Solothurn and castle village as well as in the dye Berne.
traffic
the municipality lies off the larger passage axles at a connecting road from woman wells to Limpach. The next connection to the motorway A1 (Berne Zurich) is approximately 7 km far away from the local centre. To 10. April 1916 was taken the section Zollikofen Solothurn of the regional course Berne Solothurn with a station in Büren to the yard in enterprise.
history
of remnants of grave hills from the resounding place time to the Buechhubel refer an early settlement of the Gemeindegebietes from Büren to the yard. The first documentary mention of the place took place 1249 under the name Burron. The ways of writing Buron ( 1266 ) and Bürron appeared later (1275). The place name decreases/goes back to the old-high-German word bur (house, building, dwelling) and means with the houses, in the village. The additive to the yard was only used in recent time, in order to ensure a better distinction with localities of the same name.
First Büren belonged to the knights of Schüpfen to the yard, but already 1255 came a large part of the area to the monastery woman well. Further local history is closely with that by woman wells connected. In the year 1375 the village was pulled by the plundering courses of the Gugler in. Starting from 1406 Büren stood for 1528 to the yard under Bernese rule and after the secularization of the abbey woman well of the Landvogtei woman wells in the regional court Zollikofen was assigned. After the collapse of the Ancien Régime (1798) Büren belonged to the yard during the Helvetik to the district Zollikofen and starting from 1803 to the upper office woman well, which received the status of an office district with the new canton condition from 1831.

in the local centre are numerous stately farmhouses of the bernischen land style from that 17. to 19. Century receive, why Büren possesses a protect-worth local picture of national importance to the yard. The village does not have own church, it belonged to the Pfarrei Limpach. Two monuments remind of the military conflicts in the region: The monument for driving the Gugler out after the assault on the monastery woman Mrs. (1824 established) and Gedenkstein of 1898 for the pleasures in combat against the French troops (1798).
