Baltzar of Platen (inventor)
Baltzar of Platen (* 24. February 1898 in Malmö, † 1984) was a Swedish inventor.
It belonged to a German aristocracy sex, to in the middle 18. Century to Sweden emigrated and there its professional ethics maintained could. When Baltzar of Platen 1922 left the royal technical university Stockholm, he had mathematics, physics and astronomy studies. With its paper it invented a cooling system, which was used later by the company Electrolux for their world-wide successful refrigerator together with Carl lively.
For the company ASEA cooperated from Platen in a project, which should produce diamonds by heat and pressure. It left the project however, before the first successful production synthetic diamonds succeeded to 1953.
