Bavarian cell is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district bad brook and a well-known tourist place in the Bavarian alps.

geography
Bavarian cell lies in the Mangfallgebirge between the Schliersee in the west and Oberaudorf in the east. The city is at the foot of the coiling unity, to feet of the Sudelfelds and below the Sudelfeldpasses.
history
by its proximity to Tirol was Bavarian cell (“the cell”) both in Spanish and Austrian succession wars and in the Napoleoni wars scene of armed arguments of also local mountain contactors with the animal oilers. 1811/12 “the cell” an independent Pfarrkuratie became. Since 1832 “the cell” officially Bavarian cell is called, before it was called Bavarian cell Margaretenzell. To 5./6. December 1846 took place here a Haberfeldtreiben also over 100 drivers. Around 1900 gradually the tourism begins. 1912 come it then to the opening of the coiling A RACK RAILWAy.
leisure and sports sites
the Sudelfeld with 25 lift systems and approximately 40 km departures is one of the most well-known skiing areas in the Bavarian alpine region and the largest coherent skiing area of Germany. Wendelstein can be attained by an aerial ropeway since 1972 from Bayrischzell Osterhofen.
