Beauvais is a city in the north of France, about 90 kilometers north of Paris.
Beauvais is the capital of the Département Oise. The number of inhabitants amounted to 1999 57.355; with the suburbs 59,003 inhabitants were counted. The dye results in 100,733 inhabitants.
