the district Bent [bɛnt] is an administrative unit in the southeast of the US Federal State Colorado, which was created in the year 1874 and on a surface of approximately 4000 km ² a thinly settled region of the Plains covered. Those approximately 6000 inhabitants of the district live almost exclusively in the river valleys of the Arkansas in the northern part of Bent; half of them in read Animas west the John March in reservoir.
Bent borders on Prowers in the east, Otero in the west, Kiowa in the north as well as read Animas and Baca in the south.
