Bernhard small
Bernhard Klein (* 6. March 1793 in Cologne; † 9. September 1832 in Berlin) was a German composer.

small married Lilly Parthey (*Berlin 2. October 1800; + 13. August 1829). Her daughter Elizabeth small (1828-1899) married 5. July 1846 the well-known Ägyptologen Carl smelling pool of broadcasting corporations Lepsius (1810-1883).
career/development
small became after the attendance of the Conservatoire in of Paris director of music to Cologne cathedral. 1819 he on operation Carl Friedrich Zelters came to Berlin, where he became a 1820 composition teacher at royal Institut for church music and director of music at the University of Berlin. Together with his friend, the music writer and -, he belonged to critic Ludwig Rellstab to the founders of the second citizens of Berlin song board.
Small Oratorien , a fair , a Magnificat , a Kantate , Psalmen , hymns and Motetten as well as three operas , songs and piano music composed. Its conservative composition style was coined/shaped by the ideas of the music writer Anton Friedrich Justus Thibaut.
