Bizkaia
Bizkaia (Spanish Vizcaya) is one of the three provinces of the autonomous region Basque country. Bizkaia extends to 2.217 km ². The population density is with 472 inhabitants per km ². Capital of the province is Bilbao (bask. Bilbo). Earlier Kfz characteristic was BI,Postal zip code is 48xxx.

Bizkaia lies to at the north coast of Spain.
The land border to the other provinces is 167 km long, the coastal length amounts to 80 km. The highest collection is the mountain Gorbea with 1.480 M.
The climate is maritime with cool summers and mild winters. Just like in the other regions at the Spanish north coast, the yearly amounts of precipitation are quite high.
