Shears
the shears are a tool to shearings of sheet metals and sheet metal profiles, thin sheet metals made of steel and soft metals.
Cutting, also shears mentioned, is a non-cutting separation process. Two cuts move against each other and nick the material . The advantages over sawing are that here no sawdust develop. Sheet metals to approx. 1.0 mm of thickness can be cut with a Handschere. For differently areas of application different versions are needed. There are shears as handicraft things and as electric sheet shears - e.g. as curve shears. There are shears in different remarks, like hand shears, for cutting thin and not to hard sheet metals, electric sheet shears, which less energy expenditure requires, to lever shears or alligator shear, for thicker sheet metals and the run shears for long and straight cuts.
