Boquerón is a Departamento in Paraguay, it is one of altogether 18 administrative districts. In the year 1992 the Departamento Nueva Asunción was restored integrated whereby old conditions of 1945 ago. Filadelfia became simultaneous the new capital (before Doctor Pedro P. Peña).
In the Departamento are also most settlements of German Mennoniten: Remote home, Menno, and new ground. For instance a third of the population in the Departamento speaks German.
