Breve

˘ Ğ ẳ

a Breve (lat. brevis, as much as briefly), also Brevis mentioned, is a diacritical indication for the marking of a special discussion or stress of a letter. It is an upward open elbow (a far u) over the letter. Contrary tolooking similar Hatschek is not pointed it approximately.

in Korean words romanisierten after McCune Reischauer stands ŭ for the written Hangeul - for vowel ㅡ, independently of its respective actual discussion. The letter ŏ stands for the sound value of the Hangeul vowelㅓ.
