Brian Orser (* 18. December 1961 in Belleville, Ontario, Canada) is a former kandadischer ice art runner.
Its parents are JoAnne and Butch Orser.
It belonged beside Scott Hamilton and Norbert scratches to the best ice art runners to beginning of the eighties. It won 1984 the silver medal with the olympic plays in Sarajewo. 1988 was it in its homeland favorite with the winter plays in Calgary, could behind Brian Boitano “only” silver win. The olympic ice art run of the gentlemen 1988 was only called in the media “The Battle OF the Brians” (the battle of the Brians). With this olympic one winter plays was Brian Orser color bearer of the Canadian crew.
1987 he became world champion in the ice art run.
1988 terminated Brian Orser its amateur career and became professional. Besides he works also as an assistant Leanne Miller as Choreograf.
In November 1998 Brian Orser was sued by its former life partner for maintenance. As side effect Orsers Homosexualität became public.
1985 became it the highest Canadian honor, which membership in the Canada medal, lent and 1988 promote to officer of this medal.
