Land of the Federal Republic (Austria)
Land of the Federal Republic is the colloquial name for a member state and administrative unit within the Republic of Austria. The Federal Constitution speaks of countries. They have their own legislation (federal state parliament), which is within the framework given by the condition independently legislative organ. Over the Upper House of Parliament they participate also in the legislation of the federation.
