The CAN clay/tone electronics GmbH + cost. Kg is in Weilrod (Taunus) a resident manufacturer of loudspeakers and loudspeaker boxes. The enterprise was created 1972 by four persons: Stroke ore Milbers, Otfried Sandig, Günther Seitz and Wolfgang Seikritt. A goal was the development of high-quality and payable loudspeakers.
1979 became first satellites the Subwoofer - system developed, 1995 the first commercially available digitally entzerrte loudspeaker.
The name consists of latin word “cantare” (=singen) and to the word “clay/tone”.
CAN clay/tone makes approx. 40% of its conversion by home cinema systems.
