Carlo Rossi
Carlo Rossi (* 29. December 1775 in Neapel; † 18. April 1849 in sank Petersburg) was Italian - Russian architect. Admits became it above all by the fact that it large parts sank Peter citizens of city centre in the style of the classicism arranged.
Rossi was born as a son of an Italian dancer. The father is not well-known, contemporary rumors went so far, Zar Paul I. to assume as a father. After a theory with the architect Vincenzo Brenna in sank Petersburg bereiste it from 1801 to 1803 Italy. Afterwards it worked until 1816 in Moscow. He spent the remainder of its life again in sank Petersburg.
