Casting (sport)
Casting is a discipline of the fishing rod sport. It designates the far throw or the goal throwing also at the fishing line and/or. the fishing rod fastened seals (flies) or weights.
Casting: Fly a goal (World Games 2005)
for the first time match-moderately as tournament the sport 1864 in the USA one delivered. 1923 took place in Berlin for the first time in Germany a tournament.
The Castingsport is represented also with the World Games.
The typical match disciplines are
- fly a goal: Throw on a Wasserbassin with 60 cm diameter
- fly far, a hand
- weight precision: Throw on cloth disk (arene mountain disk) with 75 cm inside diameter, 7.5 gram weight
- weight a goal: Throw on bent disk (Skish) with 76 cm diameter, 7.5 gram weight
- weight far, a hand: 7.5 gram weight
- fly far, two-hand
- weight far, two-hand: 18 gram weight
- Multi a goal: Throw on bent disk with 76 cm diameter, 18 gram weight
- Multi far, two-hand: 18 gram weight
