as Chromosomensatz one designates the number of Chromosomen in the cell core of a Eukaryoten.

To differentiate is here the haploide Chromosomensatz (i. D. R. in sex cells such as Eizellen and sperm cellses), in which each Chromosom occurs only once, and which diploide Chromosomensatz into everyoneChromosom is twice contained.

By means of a Karyogramms the Chromosomensatz can be made visible.
