Constantin of peppering brook

Constantin of peppering brook, actually Eduard Konstantin Michael peppering brook (* 11. April 1818 in loaf oh; † 17. August 1893 in Berchtesgaden; also: Constant of peppering brook, Constant (in) peppering brook of fir mountain or Constantin knight of peppering brook fir mountain, alias: W. Constant) was a Austrian librarian, Lexikograph and a writer. Its Hauptwerk is containing the 60-bändige biographic encyclopedia of the Kaiserthums Austria, the life sketches of the memorable persons, who lived 1750 to 1850 in the emperor state and in its crowning countries, which he published in the years 1856 to 1891 and which an up to then singular collection of biographic data of the having citizen realm represented.

Peppering brook 1855 work begun biographic encyclopedia of the Kaiserthums Austria, from which to 1858 three volumes had appeared, was subsidized however by the imperial Academy of Sciences up to its completion in the year 1891. Peppering brook gathered therein over 24.000 biographies.
