Coyoacán

Coyoacán („place of the Kojoten “in Nahuatl) is southern quarters of Mexico city.

until approximately 1950 was it its own city, until it was integrated into the dye by Mexico city. Around the lively main place (Plaza Hidalgo) it is roundan elevated residential area. In this quarter is the house of Frida Kahlo (casa azul). Only few corners the house continues to stand, in which Leo Trotzki spent its last Lebensjahre and in which it with the famous Eispickel to kill became. Both buildings are Museums. To reach Coyoacán with the Metro lines is 2 (stop general Anaya) and 3 (stop Viveros).
