the kind of clay/tone D Dur has two crosses as sign.
D major is considered as the most festive under the kinds of clay/tone. This has to do with the fact that at times of the baroque music the trumpets, which rang out at festive opportunities were been correct usually in D. On the other hand it is also the most frequent kind of clay/tone in the Irish folklore, there the Irish traditional wind instruments (e.g. uilleann the pipes) in D tuned are. Also on the violin this kind of clay/tone can be played quite easily.
