Harrison Ford as Jack Ryan,
the US coast guard discovers the murder at an American businessman, a friend of the US president Bennett on board a ship. Jack Ryan determines on behalf the president Colombian drug barons as an author of the notice. The president assigns thereupon its advisor James Cutter with a retaliation action. Cutter instructs deputy CIA director Robert knight to kill the drug barons by an illegal US elite unit.
