Elongation limit

as elongation limit (Rp) of a material one designates that mechanical stress, which leads during a not-proportional stretch to a certain plastic deformation.

One calls the 0,01%-Dehngrenze technical yield strength. Besides usually the 0,2%-Dehngrenze in application (Rp0,2) becomes or the l-%-elongation limit (Rp1,0) determines.
