Question about fortbestand of the German Reich
The assumption that Regierungsgewalt in Germany by those Winner powers of the 2. World war and the state formation in the three West zones on the one hand and that East zone on the other hand led to the complex international-law question, whether "still Germany as a whole" (thus in the expansion of the national territory of the German Reich of 1937) existed. This caused the controversy - during the entire period of the existence of the German Democratic Republic - discussion regarding the status that Federal Republic and that GDR after the theory of the "state in the international-law sense".
