Dilip Kumar
Dilip Kumar (Hindi, दिलीपकुमार, Dilīp Kumār, 11. December 1922 in Peshawar; civil name: Yusuf Khan) is an Indian Filmschauspieler.
Kumar buildup together with its 11 brothers and sisters in Maharashtra . 1944 he worked as a waiter in Pune and as a fruit dealer in Mumbai as he of Devika Rani was discovered. It gave its film debut in the same year. Dilip Kumar played a unfortunate lover, a role, which he embodied due to his convincing play again and again. 1949 celebrated Kumar in this role a first large success in Mehboob Khans film Andaz (common with Nargis and Raj Kapoor) and 1956 in Devdas of Bimal Roy.
Dilip Kumar is just like its colleague Raj Kapoor and Dev Anand Hindi Urdu Filmstar of the 1950er and 1960er years. With the film Mughal e Azam (1960), in which it Jahangir - which son Akbars (this represented of Prithviraj Kapoor) - played, it had again a giant success and stood on the high point of its career.
In the following three decades it stepped more rarely into feature. it played 1982 in the film Shakti of Ramesh Sippy, the director of Sholay, together with the new star Amitabh Bachchan, which plays its son. Kumar won a film-far Award for its role.
1995 received Dilip Kumar the highest Indian price for film-creative, to the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. It is called “king of the tragedy” of the Indian film and is eightfold winner film-far Award/best leading actor and also with that film-far Award/life's work was distinguished. 1998 became it as only second Indian the highest civil medal of Pakistan, which lent Nishan e Imtiaz.
Since 2000 Kumar is member of the upper house in the Indian parliament. It is married with the actress Saira Bani.
