The new epoch appears since January 2005 in Germany as supraregional weekly paper to an extent from 16 sides and in the Internet. It reports from the ranges politics, economics, China, knowledge, culture, maintenance, society, consumer, health, environment, journey and different.
The edition of the new epoch amounts to according to own data weekly approx. 20,000 copies, which is particularly driven out or distributed in usually German large cities, in Hamburg, in addition, in Austria and Switzerland. Independently raised data (e.g. the IVW) over the sold edition and range it does not give however.
The new epoch ranks among the international, Falun gong - approach Epoch Time group, which was brought with the publication of the chinesischsprachigen newspaper Dajiyuan in the year 2000 into being. With the Dajiyuan (chin. ) Chinese had to read large epoch abroad now the possibility regularly unzensierte reports from their homeland. Among them also explosive information about violations of human rights in China or about cases of corruption in Chinese bureaucracy, as well as further topics, which were malfunctioned to the Chinese due to the nationally controlled media and the rigiden information blockade in China so far. Dajiyuan developed within five years to one of the largest independent chinesischsprachigen weekly papers outside of China, with a world-wide edition of approximately 1.2 millions Copies. Reestablishments in further languages such as English and French followed. At present print or on-line newspapers of the Epoch Time appears group in 28 countries in 8 languages.
