Doctor diploma

the doctor diploma (also: Doctor letter) is a certificate over the successfully existed doctor examination.

the certificate of a doctor diploma is the written proof over the successfully existed examination, mostly in form of a Disputation. It is mostly a provisional, document , which the graduate student receives immediately after existence of the Disputation, signatory by the Dekan as the chairman of the test commission , colloquium or radical around.

This document entitled however not yet for leading the doctor title. The second, final, perhaps still document drawn up in latin receives the graduate student after delivery of the obligation copies of its printed work with the faculty and, in Austria, after distribution of the doctor oath on the Szepter of the university. If these copies are not submitted in the fixed period, usually one year, then the possibility insists on nullification of the put down examinations. The final document is not any longer handed out and the provisional is returned.

The golden doctor diploma is a honorable renewal of the graduation document after 50 years.

the doctor diploma contains the name the Diplomierten, the designation of the doctor title and the date of the public defense. It mentions usually the completed and existed doctorate program or doctor study. In the name of the university with a clear numbering and carries the signatures of the president or rector as a representative of the university and the Dekans as representative of the responsible faculty as well as the seal of the university is issued.
