Dolle is a municipality in the northeast of the ear circle in Saxonia-Anhalt (Germany). It is member municipality of the central administrative body Elbe heath with seat in the municipality Colbitz.
Close one of the municipality Dolle in the midst of the Colbitz Letzlinger heath rises the Dollgraben, of one the numerous Tanger - source brooks. The extraordinarily forest-rich environment north the municipality rises after northwest and reaches 130 m and. NN. The cities Tangerhütte and Wolmirstedt are about 14 km von Dolle far away. The Gemarkung borders in the north on the district Stendal and in the northwest on the old Mark circle salt whisk.
The region to the west of Dolle is used directly until today to a large part of the German Federal Armed Forces as troop exercise area. The military development began already 1934. Between 1945 to 1994 the Colbitz Letzlinger heath - similar as the Lüneburger heath by NATO - was used due to favorable military-strategic conditions by the troops of the Soviet army. Today some citizens' initiatives use themselves for a routistic use of the Colbitz Letzlinger heath and thus for a departure of the German Federal Armed Forces.
Dolle is a calm heath place with routistic potentials. In the last years among other things a Wellness hotel and a senior housing estate developed.
Regionally is the municipality admits taking place Motocrossrennen also by the close Dolle.
Dolle is because of the federal highway 189, half-way between Magdeburg and Stendal. Further road connections exist over castle stable after Tangerhütte as well as after meadows / Rogätz. The former road into the city guard putting is closed for decades by the large troop exercise area in the Colbitz Letzlinger heath, so that one could reach 12 km distant municipality Letzlingen long time only by means of that scarcely 50 km long detour over Uchtspringe. Since 2004 a cross connection of Colbitz ( at B 189) is approved after fount (at B 71) for the traffic, which the detour on approx. 33 km shortens. The next stations are in meal angles and Tangerhütte (line Magdeburg - Stendal). The old Mark motorway from Magdeburg to Schwerin (in the planning phase) will lead close Dolle past.
