Eberhard who DIN
Eberhard who DIN (* 19. October 1911 in Spenge; † 25. May 1991 in because home in Upper Bavaria) was a German composer and music paedagogue.

who DIN studied two years at the educational academy Hanover. During this time it already began with its composition studies. Afterwards it changed to Bielefeld, where he became a pupil of the Austrian composer Otto Siegl. At the same time it informed at an elementary school in its birth city Spenge. Who DIN changed finally to the Cologne college of music, where it studied school music with Philipp Jarnach. After its exam he became a teacher at the Carl Duisberg High School in Leverkusen. Starting from 1952 it led the urban school of music Leverkusen and from 1955 to 1969 held it lectures at the Robert Schumann conservatoire in Duesseldorf.
1973 became it the title of a professor and a 1986 the Order of Merit I. Class lent.
It died to 25. May 1991 in because home in Upper Bavaria at the age of 79 years and was bestattet in its place of birth Spenge. Up to its death it had in Cologne-Dell-bridges lived.

In the Leverkusener indoor swimming pool he organized the well-known “indoor swimming pool concerts”, whereby he used the good acoustics for unusual productions: thus it let play trade “water music ” from two oboes and a bassoon, while the musicians in a life boat were pulled over the water.
To its retirement who DIN, which even violin and Viola played , shifted the emphasis of its work on the chamber music.
