Egozentrik

Egozentrik (of lat. ego I and centrum center) designates the characteristic of the human character to see itself in the center and, accompanying with it usually, an exaggerated self referringness (egoism, with which one should confound it in no case), and the characteristic to steadily actually measure other humans.

A Egozentriker can to be gotten problems with the structure from close relations to other humans, as also in the introspection/self reflection. Egozentriker are often insulted, if they are not located in the center; it displeases them, if others have at their instead of the straight attention of its environment.

Egozentrik is not by any means to confound with Egozentrismus, a technical term from the development psychology.
