Elgg is a political municipality in the district Winterthur of the canton Zurich in Switzerland.

Elgg ZH lies in the upper Eulachtal, approximately twelve kilometers east of Winterthur, directly at the border to the canton Thurgau. Elgg belonged to six historical inhabitants of zurich the land small towns, is however its own village full charm, personality and high quality of life.
